About Unfolding Vintage
Hello!
Let me introduce myself and my little micro fashion label "Unfolding Vintage". I'm Nikki, and it's so nice to meet you.
I'm a solo business owner which means I do all the things!! This includes design, pattern-making and grading, fabric sourcing, sewing and social media content creation.
Sewing and creating is in my blood I've been at it since I was about 7 years old. My creative life has taken me down many paths, yet all of them have inevitably led me back to my happy place in front of a sewing machine.
I studied fashion design for 2 years after I finished high school and then found myself working in the retail sector for a lot longer than I had ever planned on doing. This experience placed me right in the centre of the fast fashion epidemic which has given me the valuable insight and driving force in my ambitions to be a fabulous, small, sustainable and ethical micro fashion label.
My love of saving lost, forgotten and vintage linens has now organically woven itself into the way I create clothing...
one-of-a-kind garments and accessories for anyone to enjoy, every day of the week.
